When John F. Kennedy was murdered in 1963 it was the Beatles going on Ed Sullivan that brought them a rouse of America back. By 1968 with all the tragedy and sadness something about Elvis being on television made Americans feel good about America. We're still aiming to fulfill John F. Kennedy's dream to the moon.
