Steve: Theres'a like this reserve of sadness in Shy. Like he´s seen the whole, bleak, terrible truth of the universe. And he's right. (...) But he's so sharp and insightful when he wants to be. (...) Just, he's got, like a ... a generous pain, if that makes sense. And I just pray for the weather in his head to be kind. To be clear for a bit, you know? For luck. (...) And he has these horrifying night terrors, and they sort of bleach into his days, and you'll see it. But the thing is, I get it, you know? I really get it, and I just want to say to him, "There's so much, and it's a lot, but hold tight, because you won't always feel like this. You know, and I'm lying to him, of course.
